According to the latest celebrity news, NICK JONAS has finally confirmed rumors about him being considered as the newest judge on “American Idol.”

Now that Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler has officially ended their judging duties on “American Idol” to focus on their music careers, Mariah Carey-who recently signed on as the newest (and most expensive) judge on the show-will have to strive to keep the ratings up.
And apparently, Fox still believes the Jonas Brothers band member, Nick, could be perfect for the job of helping her keep the show fresh and relevant.
The 19-year-old singer and songwriter, who has been in talks of filling the remaining vacant seat next to Mariah and the show’s sole original judge, Randy Jackson, confirmed the rumor on Twitter on Saturday:
"The rumors are true... I am being considered to be a judge on American Idol, and it would be a dream come true if it happens. #nickonidol."
Well, if Demi Lovato can do it (on “X Factor”), surely a young pop star like Nick can, right?
